I propose a ‘Swimwear Model photoshoot workshop’.

This will be a working session, and not a formal sitting training but something more informal/collaborative. We will have a professional model that will be with us for the whole duration of the photoshoot.

Sunday 25th September in my studio in Amsterdam (Near Oosterpark – free parking)

The total workshop will be 4 hours, 4 persons minimum – 6 maximum. This is a workshop in English.

1pm -> 1:30pm: Meet & greet / Introduction

1:30 -> 2:30: Theory:

• Studio vs natural light
• Bikini vs lingerie
• Working with a bikini model
• How to setup your camera & the lights, how many do you need etc…
• workflow (camera/computer/photoshop)
• Photoshop and editing

2:30 -> 4:30 Time to shoot (you will each have an opportunity to shoot and bring your picture back home) & review some pictures.

4:30 -> 5:00. Debrief, conclusion, see you next time !

Bring your camera (DSLR), and also your laptop if you have one so we have a chance to check out your work !).  I will assume you know to operate your equipment enough to understand things like ‘aperture, shutter priority, depth of field etc’.  Everyone is welcome, but you may not fully enjoy the session if you are a complete beginner.

Studio equipment (including wireless trigger) will be provided.As you can see, the part for the theory is very small – so we won’t go in details on those topics and it may turn into an even less formal discussion if the crowd prefers it.The focus of this session is more on actually taking some pictures, with direct feedback on what to do an what to avoid.

This is perfect for photographers that understand how their camera work but may not have studio experience or would love to shoot a professional swimwear model !
